1983 - Let's go and grow

Wendy Johnson was Miss Tulipland, deputy was Sharon Johnson.

12,000 visitors arrived by train with 17 special trains being laid on.

1984 - Tuliptime heritage

Sharon Holmes was Miss Tulipland.

1985 - British film time

Helen Drake (19) was Miss Tulipland.

1986 - Fun time

This year there were 15 floats and the parade was on Saturday 3rd May.

1987 - Party time

Lisa O'Dell was Miss Tulipland.

1988 -  30 years of floral entertainment

The first 'Flower Queen' was Sally Atkins (19). Her deputy was Sharon Gammage (18).

1989 - Flower Fiesta
The Flower Queen was Debbie Parson and her deputy was Jayne Bailey.

The parade was held on the 6th May.

South Holland District Council released a special Royal mail, first day cover.
