THE SPALDING FLOWER PARADE OF 1965

The theme for the 1964 Spalding Flower parade was  'Fantasy in Flowers'

Miss Tulipland was Monica Theaker

The 1965 parade left the Sir. Halley Stewart Field at 3.00pm and consisted of:

  4. The band of the 2nd Battalion Parachute regiment

  5. The Tulip Queen

  9. Spring Fantasy entered by Messrs. Stassen Ltd

  10. Eastern Promise entered by Young Farmers
