The Castle Sports Ground will be a hub of family entertainment from 11am till 7pm on Saturday and Sunday

Bouncy castles, giant inflatable assault course, face painting and children's activities. Attractions from Roger Tuby Fairs. Open all day Saturday and Sunday

Classic cars, motorcycles and vintage vehicles 

There will be a wide selection on display as well as a selection within the parade. This will include WWII military vehicles and vintage fire engines

Arrival

Please note that no vehicles other than parade entrants and pre-booked disable parking will be permitted into the sports centre. You will be turned away at the entrance of Forge Close. See our Visitors Guide page for parking options

Walking into the arena

There will be two entrances, one on Forge Close by the swimming pool and one on Albion Street. Pedestrians will be segregated from the roadway so please adhere to the footpath

The SugarBeats are a versatile band from the heart of the fens, playing an eclectic mix of classics from the 1960's to the 2020's!

Beats & Co are a 4 piece band playing rock and pop covers from the 60's to the 00's featuring an eclectic mix of artists such as The Beatles, Cockney Rebel, Free, The Cure, Oasis, Kaiser Chiefs, Stereophonics and The Killers to name a few. With many years between them of playing the local music scenes in and around South Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire, the band are passionate about their music but like to bring a feel-good sing-along factor to their performance

Amber + Rhianna are an acoustic duo based in Lincolnshire/Rutland. It all started during our time in college when one single mess around of a song became one of our best performances yet. Since then, we have performed numerous times around Spalding and also have taken part in regular Open Mics in Stamford. We have recently also released an EP consisting of 3 songs which made it onto BBC Introducing Lincolnshire.

 

Our music consists of multiple genres from pop, rock and also indie, but we also do a lot of covers ranging from artists such as Måneskin, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Harry Styles and also Little Mix

Jordan Howlett grew up in Spalding and has called it home for almost 26 years! Throughout his childhood he performed in many productions staged at the South Holland Centre and would also take part in the Flower Parade each year as a part of Polka Dot Academy of Performing Arts. In 2015, Jordan attended university and graduated from the London College of Music in 2018 having achieved a 1st Class B.A. Honours Degree in Musical Theatre. As an active member of the London College of Music Musical Theatre Choir, Voxes, Jordan also had the privilege to represent LCM at both internal and external events across London. Jordan has toured the UK in a nationwide production of Pinocchio as part of Image Musical Theatre. He has also worked for UK Professional Pantomime Production Company, Polka Dot Pantomimes as Stage Manager, Company Manager and Production Assistant for their panto seasons from 2018 - 2021. Throughout 2020 & 2021, Jordan worked for Haven as a Production Cast Vocalist , at their flagship holiday park, Primrose Valley. For the 2022 season, Jordan continues to work for Haven as a Vocalist and is currently based at the Blue Dolphin Holiday Park on the North East Coast. He is so pleased to see that the Spalding Flower Parade will be making a return and looks forward to taking to the stage again in Spalding as part of the 2023 revival back in his hometown, where it all began! Paisley Circus are a Spalding based 6 piece covers band playing a wide range of music, from Rock ‘n’ Roll to Northern Soul. The band comprises of Max Knight (Acoustic Guitar and Vocals) and Tom Maylor (Guitar and Vocals), formally from The Aviators, Matt Dilley (Drums) and Mark Astley (Guitar), formally from Blue Mary Jane, Dan Ballantine (Bass) and Sophie Hammond (Keyboard and Vocals). Between them they have many years of experience in providing live entertainment.

 

The bands love for music is reflected in the variety of songs in their set, with songs from The Rolling Stones, The Temptations, ELO, Chic, Jackson 5 and much, much more

Voodoo Haze are a three piece band who specialise in the music of Jimi Hendrix and the sounds of classic 1960's rock acts such as Cream, Led Zeppelin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Animals, and The Doors. Playing with the same passion as the music was originally performed, Voodoo Haze are looking forward to bringing the spirit of Woodstock to the Spalding Flower Parade

Matthew James Aylett is a Spalding based, unique and prolific songsmith that draws influences from the very roots of folk and blues. Matthew cites heroes such as Townes Van Zandt, Cohen and Dylan as his lyrical guides.

 

After 15 years of being a singer songwriter, Matthew released his Factory Blues EP in 2018, and is currently working on his first solo album
